Smart Start receives funding to create and distribute several publications for local families and educators. Our office staff, committee members, and design team work hard to keep these publications interesting and up to date. Centre County residents and programs can receive free copies of these publications by contacting the Smart Start office at info@smartstartcc.org.
Who We Are, What We Do
This 27x9 inch folded brochure describes Smart Start's activities over the past year. It is filled with pictures of children from around the county and useful information that you can put into action. We are proud of the many free resources, activities, and events that we were able to provide to the community last year. Please take a moment to review this annual report to see what we have been doing and to remind you how important quality early childhood experiences are for everyone!

This 32-page 5 12/ x 8 1/2 inch booklet gives tips on choosing and using books with infants and toddlers.

First Letter to Baby
This four page 8 1/2 x 11 inch booklet encourages parents to think about and discuss their goals and plans as parents, and then write a letter to their newborn sharing their thoughts.

Pre-K Calendar
This 8 1/2 x 11 inch, 13 month annual calendar is filled with activities and information for parents and children preparing to start Kindergarten. It is distributed through preschool and daycare programs, through all Centre County libraries,and some doctors' offices and other businesses.
